Walking down the aisle to see my (almost!) husband. Also his speech, and our sparklers in the dark 🤍

How did you know Made with Love - Archie was the dress for you?

I used to work in a bridal shop and so I was very well aquatinted with wedding dresses already, I was drawn to MWL due to their attention to women’s ACTUAL figures rather than just making ‘a wedding dress’. Some dresses don’t sit on the waist properly and gape in strange places even when tailored, like they’re not actually made for a woman’s body- MWL have absolutely nailed their patterns and their dresses look effortless on. I knew Lola was the one for me as I ever other one I tried on after her was eclipsed by my image of Lola! The beadwork offered a really special and classy touch without the dress feeling overcrowded in lace or various patterns. I loved the fact the dress looks plain from afar but close up you can see the sparkles!

Do you have any tips for 'brides to be' regarding choosing the dress?

It is so easy to get into the ‘maybe there’s another more perfect dress in the next shop’ mentality. I can’t say enough how this will only add stress and pressure into your life. Trust your gut, and go for something that feels comfortable as well as making you feel a million dollars. The dress shopping experience itself is as important as the dress itself so choose a trusted shop which stocks some brands you love and you won’t go wrong. Also…. Don’t take many people with you! It is your choice and your choice alone what to wear to marry your love ♥️
