Aisle Bride - Laura!

Laura chose Crawford by Jane Hill to wear on her dreamy wedding day at Middleton Lodge. Laura paired her dress with a cathedral length plain veil to complete her elegant bridal look.

What was the best part of your day?

I honestly don’t think I can pick one best part of the day, I just felt so happy in a little bubble all of the day!

I was pretty nervous but loved the build up in the morning getting ready with my Mum and Bridesmaids, seeing Ben at the end of the aisle eased all of the nerves and then the rest of the day went so fast and was just so fun.

We had been given some advice to have our wedding breakfast together, and so we didn’t have a top table just a table for us two and I’m so glad we did as we got to properly spend time together and take it all in.

It was an amazing day with all our favourite people!

How did you know Jane Hill - Crawford was the dress for you?

To be honest, I actually came to a Made With Love Trunk show as I’d seen the dresses online and fell in love with quite a few!

The Jane Hill Crawford Dress was left out with them and it was actually my Mum who suggested I try it on. Sorry to say I did ignore her a little but after the second time she asked me to try it on we realised the dress was called Crawford which was my Grandads name so we thought I definitely needed to try it on!

We ended up having a bit of an emotional moment as I loved the dress even though it wasn’t what I thought I wanted.

What did you like about your experience with The Aisle?

I had been to a couple of other bridal shops before coming to The Aisle and I was actually starting to get nervous that I wasn’t going to find a dress that I loved but after a bit of googling I found The Aisle and loved the dresses you stock. My initial appointment was with Gemma in Ilkley and she was so lovely and helpful she made made me feel so at ease throughout appointment without any pressure at

Do you have any tips for 'brides to be' regarding choosing the dress?

I’d say go with an open mind as my dress wasn’t what I initially thought I wanted. I think I might have felt overwhelmed having a bigger group of people at the appointment and I was glad that it was just me

And my mum there….and it turns out she knew me better than I knew myself as she spotted the one. It was also really nice to be able to do a reveal with my bridesmaids on the wedding day!
